So I finally dug these photos out of the archives. Being a month old, i thought it was about time considering i’ve got a lil bit of time off work.
Huge turnout of cars to this one, all presented to an incredibly high standard. When the import car scene gets like this, we will have something to be very proud of. Casual as 100+ car meets on a Saturday arvo…. epic.
Here’s some pics:
baby-rods for the kiddies.
the 5-0 turned up.
this looked like it’d been painted in house paint of some description. all just ading to it’s badass-ness. That big tube thing hanging off the window is apparently an ancient form of airconditioning…
there were a couple of modern day takes on the old muscle cars including this Shelby Mustang and the red thing you see below.
And I’ve saved my personal favourites to last:
First up this awesome wagon. could easily fit like 3987087 of your mates in it and roll the bays for epic win party time.
Then there was this. Perfect colour scheme. Matte grape ftw.
and this would have been my favourite car of the whole day. Slammed bagged, on steels, white walls, matte blue, pin striping, and just the right amount of chrome. Cars like this gimme a semi. filth
That’s enough from me.
Ahright, so we are in full swing of summer (or atleast we should be, the pissing down rain over the holiday period didn’t have me too convinced) and it’s time to get back into it and catch up with everyone and see what’s gone down over the holiday period!
Date: Wednesday 25th January 2012
Time: 7pm onward
Place: Burgerfuel Johnsonville, park up with the rest of us at the Burgerfuel end of the Woolworths/Countdown carpark.
Usual rules apply, we will be in the public eye, so don’t be a douchebag. No need for skids or VTEC/boosting through the carpark as the supermarket is still in full use at this time.
Keen to catch up with ya’ll and check out some cars and see what everyone has been up to!

So last week the Port Road Drags were on and Barry at Burgerfuel Johnsonville spotted me a couple of free tickets to get in there for the day. While I was busy getting brutally sunburnt, I handed the camera over to resident shit talker – JD. Here’s what he saw through the lens.
This is a very very original V8 Nissan President. Never seen one in the flesh. A mighty rare car.
This is why you own a 4×4, to park it anywhere you bloody well want to.
This Mini stuck out like dogs balls, despite its size…. probably that brilliant orange paint.
This Ute looks like it was built by a mad scientist. Despite it’s rough edges, it certainly had some charm.
For some people these cars are more than just a hobbie, for some they become a way of life. Certainly is some strong culture around. Tattoos of your favourite engine manufacturer shows this strong culture. This guy was obviously a Mopar fan.
Another Bwarp contributor, Sean, sticking his finger up someones pipe.
Special thanks to JD, for his excellent photographic works.
