Spamcrew/Shuttle crew rollout.

Small gathering on Friday night. Few pics taken of Geoff and Sundeeps Honda Shuttles and of course a couple of other token Honda that a meet can not be complete without. I tested a few new techniques for getting photos. Mainly hanging out the window of a Civic on the motorway doing 100kph and trying to stay upright while looking through the view finder. Hard, but some of the results turned out quite nice IMO. Feedback welcome.

Here we go:

Gang signs. Oh so fitting considering we are in The Hutt

Decided to park up and get some photos in a (sorta) well lit car park. Was all fun and games until some boongas in a van showed up, complete with 440ml woodstock cans….. There was a lot more of them than there was of us, so needless to say we moved out pretty quick.

Pics below:

Artsy: HOODS UP!!

Favourite photo of the evening.

We then stopped at GMR and took these pics beside their pile of scrap metal. Nice wrecked DC5 Teg sitting right outside…. poor thing.

The only way to measure mean dish on rimz. hahah

A good night out round The Hutt with a good bunch of blokes. Who’s up for the next one?

Stagea Drifting

Yes that’s right. This is a bunch of Nissan Stagea’s drifting.

If you don’t know what a Nissan Stagea is – the way to sum it up is, a boat with Nissan Skyline running gear…

Atleast…. I thought they were a bit boaty. until I saw these videos.

The first video is an automatic Stagea with a foot activated emergency (hand) brake…..

Blog has been slightly redesigned. Still trying to iron out some issues with people who are viewing on 1080p monitors ( i may just say GTFO…. haha no not really though)

I’m pretty pleased with the results. Looks goooood.

Slipway day 02/04/2011

Slipway days are always good fun whatever you drive. But they are a lot more fun if you roll a RWD. Let’s be honest, while thrashing the FWD Suzuki around the pad is great to see the tyres limits, and hear the (often scary) noises it makes, it’s a hell of a lot more awesome to skid up a RWD or a Honda Civic if you have a hydraulic trailer brake attached to the rear wheels….

Speaking of which – A Honda Civic with a hydraulic trailer brake attached to the rear wheels showed up!!

Clicked ‘Read More’ to see the photos!

With a pure JDM paintjob (done with rollers and house paint), it looked like a well used Touge hack.

It also came with a Honda Dio in the back (whilst it was on a trailer of course… this car is certainly not road legal.) Here’s a shot of Dave fanging it up. Do a skid bey.
The usual suspects were there too.
Jimmy’s first skid of the morning.
Dave caning the RB powered S13 – this thing goes nuts.

Scotts (currently NA) Silvia looking evil as usual.
And another Silvia – very similar to Scotts, but Turbo.
A few carpark shots of the cars that showed up

A few cheeky plugs

and my final shot – A tyre well shredded, courtesy of Scott….
Until next time……
