I think I’m in love

I don’t think I’ve posted here this side of the financial year… perhaps there’s room for improvement.

I was browsing round the net on other than the usual XXX car sites, and stumbled upon a site which has to be the most butt clenchingly amazing car blogs I’ve ever read.

Featuring: Engineered to slide

If you havent seen what this guy is doing, you need to, like yeterday. He’s an absolute inspiration to every car enthusiast in the world. I haven’t yet managed to read the entire thing, my fingers were getting sore from scrolling and clicking because there’s just so much this guy has done! The latest thing that got me hooked to this guy was a hilux build he’s putting together. It’s not much… just a fully tubed chassis, custom engineered knuckles, floor pan, engine mounts… I’m salivating just thinking about it.

If you cant click on links at work or whatever, here’s a few pictures just to demonstrate what this guy is up to.

Hopefully be making a few more contributions once my green things jumped into life.

Catch you all round,

Wendys meet 7th December

Damn it seems like we eat a lot of fast food. Fat pricks are us….
Anyway – the Wendy’s meet seemed like a happening thing gauging by the interest received on the Facebook page.
So details as per the poster above.
If you are planning on coming please take note – as we will be running along the motorway – there is no need for you to try and race every car that pulls up next to you. We are more interested in getting to Wendys without police trouble and without watching a Subaru Impreza and a Honda Integra become a SuHonbaruda Impreintegzara due to playing silly buggers.
So usual story goes – provided you have a good attitude and don’t have a deathwish when driving, you should totally come along!
See you there – PEACE

Last BWARP meet of 2011. Few extra pics.

I have attended almost all of the Bwarp monthly meets and it has been an awesome thing to be apart of this year. I have met some genuine, down to earth people through these events and I hope that they are bigger and better next year, which I am sure they will be.

This was actually the first time I had pulled out my camera at one of these meets, and Luke suggested I throw some pics up.
We rolled out from the J-ville carpark and headed to an underground one in P-town.
I had a go at leaning out of Grimace’s window and tried to take some snaps. It was real dark so some of these are a bit shit, but you get the idea.
Hadn’t been in a decent convoy in years, was great fun actually.
White whale.
Faggy arty photo of a boss eg, on mad steelies with silver clip in lip things, which seem to be impossible to find.
Craig bought out his new GT4, previously owned by a 60 year old rally co-driver. Had some boss as light up rear speakers which i’m gutted i didn’t get a photo of.
These come factory fitted with Recaro’s, which are ultra comfy, although my ass needs a bit of slimming it seems.
Grimace himself, with a bit more low after some new springs.
Another regular. Aaron’s wrx.
Jizz, David’s 2010 675. Mhhhmm. As a bike owner myself I couldn’t stop looking at this bike. Owner was a real good sort too. Thanks for bringing it out.
White Toyota cousins.
I think this is the first DC5 we have had turn up.
I particularly like these in black. Not your usual champ white.
Mr Bwarp himself.
Another regular, Charlie, was in attendance, with some particularly sexy new headers.
Normally we have a mass of Cl1’s turn up. Weather must have put them off this time.
One more of Josh’s caldina.
So that’s it for the Burger meet’s this year. No doubt they will be back next year, but bigger and better.
Just wanna say a big thanks to Luke for organising these meets.
Until next time,
Sean Clarke.

Bwarp Burgerfuel Meet – 23 November – PHOTOS PART TWOOOOO

Velcome to post number 100 of Bwarp.net.nz

Long time coming. Starting out as a blog amongst a few mates taking the piss, to something that now successfully holds a monthly meet where a bunch of GC’s come out have some burgers, have a yarn and fap on about cars. I love this shit!

To celebrate this 100th post – there was a bit of a photoshoot held in an underground carpark somewhere in the vicinty of Porirua after we had demo’d some burgers with our mates at Burgerfuel Johnsonville.

Here’s the pics.

Usual suspect Charlie’s CL1 Euro R Accord.

Engine bay shot – look at those shiny shiny headers. Plenty of elbow grease went into those!

EK Coupe

Gung’s Civic coupe sitting on 16″ steelies. SO boss

Triumph 675

One of my favourite photos of the night. David’s 675 Triumph. nomnom

This is only going to get bigger and better.

Bwarp Burgerfuel Meet – 23 November 2011 – PHOTOS – PART ONE

Holla sup.
Final Bwarp Burgerfuel Meet for the 2011 year was off the hook.
The rain held out, the wind fucked off for a bit and the burgers were superb.
Heaps of new faces came out, met some new GC’s and fapped over some pretty interesting technology.
Here’s the pics!
Steelie <3 This Civic was repping them hard. Got luv for that. IMG_7334resized
The infamous Phlex
Feel sorry for the baby onboard this weapon when pilot, Aaron, decides to step it out!
The camera is rolling, boys.
Dan and The Black Pearl – the jewel in the crown of Porirua.
This bike was BAOSSSSS. It’s rider, David, has owned it for around a year and has already put 17,000kms on the clock. That’s a farken long way! Good effort bro!
Here’s a different arse end shot to the usual shot of Josh’s EK9 ass. CARBON NOM.
People people people
Adam was there in his tidy OG Mirage, lyk a boss.
Usual suspect Jono had his Low Legacy Wagon out. Chyeah.
Iain graced us with his prescence along with his EG hack. Rusty panel trend be-gone! Sanded and partially bogged bonnets are the new hip thing.
One diesel to rule them all, one diesel to find them, one diesel to bring them all and in the darkness SMOKE THEM THE FUCK OUT! Nice one Jasper!
Ryan brought along RKLESS – Ryan has stepped the game up on this car with a new set of wheels. Along with his usual styz slammed ride height – the new feet set the car off. Nice work bro – I was very very very impressed with the standard of this car.
gettin’ dem burgers.
Jono – probably chatting up a bird – usual styz for this guy.
Dunno who this prick is. But he’s certainly not my younger brother……hah. Much love bro.
Someone doing it right.
If your car isn’t in this set of photos – it should bloody well be in the next lot.
Keep your eyes out cos the next post is on it’s way!!
