Our friends at Solid Slide Sessions had organised a day at Hampton of skid pan and full track simultaneous action.
So we made the journey to Hampton to see what was going on.
Even though it was dominated by Nissans, there was still points of difference to be found.
When we first arrived we were greeted by the eargasm that is a quad rotary firing up at 9am.
There was a range of cars, from home build drift missiles,
all the way to full D1 spec cars.
That is a rather large turbo.
All of the S Chassis.
What’s better than watching a drift car tear up a track? Watching it do it in tandem.
It wasn’t all nissan though. Our mate Kieran was putting the high powered turbo cars to shame.
Hadn’t see one of these at a drift day before.
Sometimes the best cars aren’t actually on track. We always check out the car park talent.
Dat wing doe.
We love OEM swapped onto different cars. Z wheels on this s14.
Lowcally Known Supra. Probably best that you took the lip off. Can’t imagine it would have lasted 5 mins on the track.
The skid pan was going strong all day.
All about the booty.
Jase Brown in his well presented S13.
That ass in action.
Hampton is great for spectators, heaps of spots to watch from.
Super clean S15 on BBS.
One of my personal favourite cars of the day.
This KP with N1 flares was ruthless on the track.
Love the paint scheme on this S14. The owner was giving it death all day too.
C’s Garage are the epitome of cool.
We had an awesome day. The day was run really well and we can’t wait for the next SSS day.
